Replacement of bricks and boiler casing for a Boilermech boiler with a capacity of 45 tons per hour
Category:
BOILER
Location:
KALTIM
The refractory brickwork and external casing of the 45-ton-per-hour Boilermech unit have deteriorated due to age and prolonged exposure to heat. This condition increases the risk of damage to the boiler shell, causes significant heat loss, and reduces operational efficiency, making a complete replacement necessary to maintain the unit’s reliability.
Carry out a complete replacement of the refractory brickwork and boiler casing during the scheduled shutdown period. The work must comply with the manufacturer’s technical specifications, occupational safety standards, and the established timeline so that the boiler can resume operations immediately after the shutdown ends.
Our team removed all the degraded refractory material and installed new refractory brickwork in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and installation standards. In addition, we replaced the entire external casing panel with the appropriate sealing and insulation systems to ensure that the boiler’s thermal and structural protection remains optimal.
The replacement of the refractory brickwork and casing was successfully completed according to the planned shutdown schedule. The boiler’s thermal performance has returned to optimal levels, with reduced heat loss, improved shell protection, and increased operational efficiency, all of which support the boiler’s long-term reliability.
