The Boilermech boiler, with a capacity of 35 TPH, has experienced a decline in performance due to worn pipes, degraded refractory lining, and damage to the casing. These conditions have led to a reduction in steam production capacity and could potentially disrupt the plant’s operations if comprehensive repairs to the boiler’s main components are not carried out immediately.

Perform a comprehensive boiler restoration to restore it to near-new condition during a scheduled shutdown period. The work must include the repair of all damaged components while maintaining quality, workplace safety, and the specified completion timeline.

Our team performed a complete boiler retubing using welding procedures carried out by certified personnel, along with 100% non-destructive testing (NDT) on every joint. In addition, we replaced all the refractory brickwork and refurbished the boiler’s external casing. All work was carried out in parallel and in a coordinated manner to minimize the duration of the shutdown.

The restoration work was successfully completed according to the planned shutdown schedule. The boiler has returned to its original design steam production capacity, with improved operational reliability and a renewed physical condition. The timely completion of the project allowed the plant to resume operations without any delays to the production schedule.
