Project to Replace All Pipes in Atmindo’s 32-Ton-Per-Hour Water-Tube Boiler
Category:
BOILER
Location:
KALTIM
Atmindo’s 32-ton-per-hour water-tube boiler has deteriorated due to the pipes reaching the end of their operational lifespan. This situation could disrupt the continuity of the steam supply for the plant’s production processes if critical components that have worn out and experienced a decline in performance are not replaced immediately.
Replace the generating bank tubes, water wall tubes, and downcomer tubes during a limited shutdown period. The work must be completed in accordance with applicable safety standards, welding quality standards, and inspection requirements, so that the boiler can resume safe and reliable operation once the repair process is complete.
Our team of Class 1 certified welders performs all pipe welding work in accordance with approved procedures. Every weld joint undergoes 100% non-destructive testing (NDT) by independent inspectors to ensure quality, material integrity, and compliance with applicable technical standards and regulations.
All pipe replacement work was successfully completed in accordance with the established shutdown schedule. The boiler resumed operation at full working pressure without any issues, received recertification from the Ministry of Manpower, and achieved excellent inspection results with zero weld rejections on all tested joints.
