Conducting the complete dismantling of the Vickers Hoskin 45 TPH boiler, which has reached the end of its operational life, to facilitate the installation of a new boiler unit. The work includes isolating the steam, fuel, and electrical systems, as well as dismantling pressure parts, refractories, casings, and ducting. All work is performed in accordance with safety standards and under the supervision of the Ministry of Manpower, with on-time completion during the plant shutdown without any safety incidents.
Carry out the decommissioning and complete dismantling of the boiler during the scheduled plant shutdown period. The work must be performed with due regard for workplace safety, compliance with applicable regulations, risk management for pressure equipment, and ensuring that there is no disruption to other work taking place during the shutdown period.
Our team thoroughly isolated the steam, fuel, and electrical systems before beginning the dismantling work. We then proceeded with the phased dismantling of the pressure components, refractory, boiler casing, and ducting system. All activities were carried out in accordance with safe work procedures, under the supervision of the Ministry of Manpower, and included the controlled separation of salvageable materials and scrap.
The boiler decommissioning and dismantling project was successfully completed within the timeframe set in the plant shutdown schedule. All work was carried out without any safety incidents or damage to surrounding facilities. The work area was successfully cleaned up and prepared for the installation of the new boiler, thereby supporting the smooth progress of the overall project schedule.
