Replacement of the Boiler Flue and 30-Meter Exhaust Pipe
Category:
MECHANICAL
Location:
KALTIM
The 30-meter-tall boiler stack and the flue gas ducting system at the plant have deteriorated due to age and exposure to extreme operating conditions. These conditions pose a risk to structural integrity and may result in non-compliance with operational and emission control requirements, making replacement necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of the system.
Replace the boiler chimney and associated flue gas ducting during the scheduled outage. The work must be completed to high safety standards, ensuring high-quality construction, and minimizing the impact on the plant’s operational schedule.
Our team fabricated new chimneys and ductwork in accordance with the specified technical requirements. The old, deteriorated structures were then safely dismantled, and the new chimneys and ductwork were installed using well-planned rigging and lifting methods, with strict safety supervision throughout the entire process.
The replacement of the boiler chimney and flue gas ducting was successfully completed according to the scheduled outage timeline. The new structure provides a higher level of reliability, supports safe boiler operations, and ensures that the flue gas exhaust system can function optimally over the long term.
