The sterilizer’s hydraulic system at the plant is still operated using manual valves, resulting in inconsistent cycle times and increasing the operator’s workload. This situation also has the potential to affect the efficiency and stability of the sterilization process during daily operations.

Design and install a PLC-based control panel to automate the operational sequence of the sterilizer’s hydraulic system. The system must be capable of improving cycle consistency, reducing manual intervention, and enhancing operational safety through a reliable interlock system.

Our team designed and installed PLC panels featuring sequenced control logic and an integrated interlock system. The system is equipped with an emergency stop, pressure interlocks, and full integration with the existing hydraulic system. Following installation, we conducted comprehensive commissioning and operator training to ensure a smooth operational transition.

The PLC automation system has been successfully implemented. Sterilizer cycle consistency has improved, the operator’s workload has been significantly reduced, and operational safety has been enhanced through more reliable controls and interlocks.
